The latest Grass Valley EDIUS software – Version 4.5 – from Thomson includes a built-in DVD authoring tool, and ProCoder software that addresses most new distribution formats. The system is designed for multi-core CPUs and motherboards with PCI Express slots. It can handle any mix of HD and SD video content as well as unlimited video, audio, title, and graphics layers. Realtime effects are also possible.
