THE MILL NY ADDS 9 TO STAFF

Boo Wong joins the studio as senior producer of design & content, bringing with her experience in broadcast, film, Web, games and print. Prior to joining The Mill, Wong was head of production/EP at Psyop.

Danielle Amaral is The Mill NY’s new head of design production. She bringing expertise in commercials, broadcast and music videos, and was most recently senior producer at Digital Kitchen.

Jared Yeater joins The Mill NY as senior producer, having most recently served as head of production at Click3X. He has worked with ETrade, Walmart, Army, Verizon and HBO, among others.

Gong Myung Lee comes to the studio as VFX supervisor, bringing a deep technical expertise in CG and VFX, as well as an outside-the-box perspective. She was born in Korea, but has lived in Switzerland, France and Russia. Prior to joining The Mill, Lee was CG supervisor at Charlex, NY, where she worked on over 200 commercials.

As VFX supervisor, Jeffrey Dates bringing 15 years of experience. He’s worked as a character animator, creative director, animation director, motion designer and production artist. Prior to joining The Mill, Dates worked as CG/VFX supervisor for Mass Market on projects for Guinness, Travelers, Infiniti and HP.

Senior lighting TD Tom Bardwell spent three years at Sydney-based Animal Logic. He was also lighting lead for Zach Snyder’s feature, 300. Most recently, Bardwell freelanced as lighting TD/3D artist at The Mill, Method, Hopr and Framestore.

Senior animation TD Jeff Lopez brings experience gained from both commercials and feature films. He was most recently with Psyop, but has also worked with Rhino FX, Kleiser Walczak, R/GA and Curious Pictures. He’s also worked as a freelancer with Nathan Love, Pandapanther and Brand New School.

Emmett Dzieza joins The Mill NY as art director, bringing experience in design-oriented animation. Before taking a staff post, Dzieza freelanced at The Mill on two Ford F-150 spots. His credits also include serving as lead animator on a Nike Web film with Danny Kass, and contributing graphics for Madonna’s “Re-Invention Tour.”

And Bowe King is The Mill’s new art director. King worked with Perception on graphics and supplemental design for Iron Man 2. Other recent projects include a promo package for NBC’s Championship Season, which King directed, and designing a new promo campaign for FX’s Sons of Anarchy, also through Perception.
