LOS ANGELES — The Television Academy celebrated the 78th Emmy Awards on Monday night, recognizing excellence in television programming and individual achievement for the 2025-2026 television season. The ceremony concluded a three-night event (September 5th, 6th and 14th) and was hosted by multiple Emmy-winner Mariska Hargitay.
The NBC telecast featured awards in 19 Emmy categories. Additionally, celebrated actor, author and philanthropist Michael J. Fox was presented with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award in recognition of his contributions to Parkinson’s disease research and advocacy.
Collectively, Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay took home 14 Emmy Awards, including honors for Outstanding Comedy Series, Directing, Lead Actor, Supporting Actress, Supporting Actor and Writing. The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny, DTF St. Louis and The Traitors each won seven Emmy Awards.
