Magnificent was shot using eight HDCAM cameras and four HDV camcorders. Shepherd and Krueger worked closely to choose a grade for each camera. The video was edited in HD using Final Cut Pro, and Shepherd used the program’s internal color correction to apply a more interesting look and feel to the dailies before commencing with shot selection.
