LAS VEGAS – Imagica (www.imagica-technologies.com) introduced a new set of image quality enhancement plug-ins for Autodesk tools at the NAB show this week. O-gi is a set of five noise reduction and clean-up filters for Inferno, Fire, Flame, Flint and Smoke systems. The company plans to ship the collection in July for $5,000. A 2K collection will also be available for $8,000.
The Video Signal Legalizer brings luminance/chroma levels into conformance with video-legal limits. The Wrinkle Diminisher can be used to smooth and beautify skin imperfections. The Mach Band Suppresser is designed to remove troublesome color banding in digital cel animation, while the Video Noise Detector helps isolate sources of visual noise within an image. The fifth plug-in is the Edge Preserving Smoother, which eliminates sparkle and grain noise while preserving edge details in an image.
