The base model is a three-node solution providing 6TB of storage. Additional 2TB nodes – priced at $13,250 each – can be added to create a maximum storage solution of 48TB. Each 1RU node offers 4GB of memory.
Isilon is also offering three optional data protection and data management applications for the IQ 200. SnapshotIQ ($1,450) allows users to revert back to earlier file versions. SmartConnect ($2,950) balances users across the cluster so each receives maximum performance. And SyncIQ ($2,950) provides replication functions for disaster recovery.
