LOS ANGELES – American Cinema Editors (ACE) announced today the nominations for its 75th Annual ACE Eddie Awards. The awards recognize outstanding editing in 14 categories of film, television and documentaries. Winners will be announced on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at UCLA’s Royce Hall.
As previously announced, filmmaker Jon M. Chu will receive the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award, which recognizes a filmmaker who exemplifies distinguished achievement in the art and business of film. Also previously announced, film editors Maysie Hoy, ACE, and Paul Hirsch, ACE, will receive Career Achievement Awards for their outstanding contributions to film editing.
