BLINK READIES MTV CONTENT FOR ITUNES

Each show was encoded as 15mbps MPEG-2 files with uncompressed audio. Apple performed the final transcode into the protected MPEG-4 format. The Blink design team also created graphic icons that identify the series on the iTunes Music Store. In total, more than 250 individual episodes were encoded for download via the iTunes site. Consumers can purchase individual episodes for $1.99 and complete seasons for $12.99. Blink Digital has a long relationship with MTV Networks, having provided authoring and design services for many MTV DVD releases.
