NEW YORK – Audio post house/music facility, Now Hear This (www.nhtsound.com), recently provided sound design and 5.1 mixing on a series of promos for MTV’s 2005 Movie Awards. Produced by Matt Lenski, Mike Bellino and Betsy Blakemore, the promos are being shown in movie theatres across the country.
Larry Buksbaum, head sound designer/engineer at Now Hear This, used Digidesign Pro Tools|HD and NHT Pro speakers to create the surround sound mixes for distribution to Regal Cinemas. Custom 5.1 sound design and effects accent the spots? graphics and ambiance. The promos feature Jimmy Fallon, who will host the 2005 MTV Movie Awards.
