LAS VEGAS – The NAB released early attendance figures for its 2008 show, which it bills as “the world’s largest electronic media show covering filmed entertainment and the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums.” The association reported 105,259 registered attendees, a figure that includes a record high 28,310 international attendees and 1,296 members of the news media.
The figures are based on pre-show and on-site registration. Final registration data will be available following the show.
“These figures demonstrate, convincingly, the staying power of the NAB Show brand,” says NAB executive vice president Dennis Wharton. “The record international attendance is proof positive that the NAB Show is truly the undisputed global leader in the content marketplace.”
