LAS VEGAS – Montreal’s Pixellexis (www.pixellexis.com) is showing its RedBox parallel processing system at this year’s NAB. RedBox is designed to speed up current workstations or can be used for intense rendering applications.
The RedBox processor accelerator features from 32 to 128 high performance floating-point processors in a water-cooled enclosure. This type of solution reduces the need for air conditioning, saving the client money and also easing the toll on the environment.
