NEW YORK - Cut + Run’s (www.cutandrun.tv) TG Herrington recently edited three PSAs that are part of a program that celebrates 50 years since the 35th President’s inauguration. The initiative promotes JFK’s political and humanitarian visions, and encourages Americans to get involved. A dedicated Website — JFK50.org — details his historic efforts and also promotes the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston.
The three "Ask Not" spots were conceived by agency Ogilvy & Mather and star Jimmy Fallon, who asks viewers to re-examine Kennedy’s vision and ask themselves how they can make a meaningful contribution to the country.
@Radical Media produced the package with Dave Meyers directing.
Cut + Run’s Alex Dondero assisted Herrington with the edit, which was performed using Final Cut Pro. Ralph Scaglione handled compositing and the conform. Company 3 NY’s Tom Poole served as colorist, and Sonic Union New Paul Weiss performed the mix.
