LOS ANGELES - Man
Made Music (www.manmademusic.com) composer Joel Beckerman recently completed
production of track sessions recording the original theme for The CBS
Evening News with Katie Couric. The
broadcast debuted on September 5th and airs Monday through Friday.
Working with Oscar-winning composer James Horner (Titanic), who wrote the new score, Beckerman recorded a
20-piece orchestra at Universal Studios in downtown Los Angeles. Beckerman also
scored cues for the evening broadcast and The CBS Early Show, as well as music for the 4:30pm broadcast and for
Up-to-the-Minute broadcasts.
