NAB ANNOUNCES AIM EDITORS' CHOICE AWARD WINNERS

WASHINGTON D.C. - NAB announced the winners of the 2003 Editors' Choice Awards, an extension of its annual NAB Awards for Innovation in Media (AIM), which Post Magazine was a member of the judging panel.

In the Content Creation category Laird Telemedia won for its Capdiv, Leitch Incorporated' won the award in the Content Management category for its CCS Navigator and Triveni Digital won the award in the Content Delivery category for Skyscraper.

The pool of products evaluated by the editorial judging panel consisted of 15 products - five in each of the three product categories - that were selected by attendees at the NAB2003 exhibition. Attendees voted April 7 and 8 for the technological innovations that best addressed current and upcoming issues in the electronic media industry.

The AIM program provides a voice for NAB audiences, allowing them to publicly recognize pioneering products and technologies positioned to make the largest impact on today's electronic media industry. Based solely on votes from the NAB exhibition's attendees, the program commends ground-breaking products that display a significant level of advancement by exceeding expectations for boosting efficiency, increasing user flexibility and creativity and/or lowering cost.
