LAS VEGAS - Nevada City, CA's Graham-Patten Systems (www.gpsys.com), a division of The ISIS Group, is demonstrating its existing range of AES3id converters and SoundPals modules at NAB, as well as highlighting new advances to its D/ESAM series of digital edit suite audio mixers.
The D/ESAM 8000 is new and uses the same technology that made the D/ESAM 820, 400 and 230 successful. The unit employs the Klotz VADIS mixing engine and routing system. User features make it suitable for both broadcast and post facilities making the transition to multichannel surround sound for DVD, DTV and other digital delivery formats.
Graham-Patten's SoundPals HDDM-8 high definition eight-channel de-embedder is the latest addition to the firm's range of audio solutions and provides eight channels of analog audio output in a compact package.
Other products at the show include the four-output/16-channel D/ESAM 400, suitable for mid-sized edit suites, and the D/ESAM 230, a cost-effective solution that integrates control console and chassis. The complete SoundPals Series of digital audio format conversion, processing and distribution building blocks for in-studio and field applications will be shown as well.
