FILM/COMMERCIAL EDITOR SLOANE KLEVIN JOINS VERSION2

NEW YORK - Editor Sloane Klevin has joined the roster of editorial, visual effects and design company Version2 (www.version2.net). Klevin began her editorial career while still in school at UCLA, doing an internship as an assistant feature film editor. She later became a commercial editorial assistant to Jeff Wishengrad at the now-defunct Ace and Edie.

An opportunity to compete for the "Dick Tracy" trailer for Disney landed her the title of full-fledged editor. After cutting trailers for Disney for a year, Klevin went to Mad River Post in Los Angeles and then freelanced for 12 years, contributing to a list of long-form projects, commercials and music videos.

Following a slew independent films, Klevin edited "Sugar and Spice" starring Mena Suvari and James Marsden for first-time feature director Francine McDougall. Later came the movie "Pumpkin" with Christina Ricci, and "Real Women Have Curves," which premiered at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. In between her work on films, Klevin maintained a steady schedule of commercial work on a freelance basis. She most recently cut commercials for Eucerin, Clinique and Cheerios, as well as a multimedia project for the U2 Vertigo tour.

Klevin is also a professor at Columbia University, teaching editing to its graduate film school.
