DIGITAL FARM DEVELOPS DVD GAMING TECHNOLOGY

SEATTLE, WA - Digital media design studio Digital Farm (www.digitalfarm.com) and its Advanced DVD Enhancement Team have developed the DVD Enhancement Engine, a gaming technology that enables traditional DVD players to randomly access hundreds of video clips and puzzlers as well as keep track of games already played.

The DVD Enhancement Engine was developed for Screenlife, LLC for use in its DVD movie trivia game, Scene It?, and is branded as Optreve.

"Screenlife approached us with a problem that no one could solve for them - creating a technology to bring a new DVD movie trivia game to life," explains Digital Farm president Bill Kuper. "The creation of Optreve was our first endeavor and the success of the game reflects the impact of this new technology on consumers. Now we're on to the next phase, working with clients like Screenlife to take DVD technology and the user experience even further."
