DALY CITY, CA - Digidesign is now offering Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 software, a free update that delivers support for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) on Pro Tools|HD systems. The release includes firmware updates for the company's ICON D-Control and D-Command worksurfaces.
Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 software is for Pro Tools|HD systems only. Future Pro Tools software releases will support Pro Tools LE systems and Pro Tools M-Powered systems on Mac OS X 10.4.
In addition to Tiger support, the latest release includes support for the Avid Mojo interface, but not the Avid Media Station|PT companion application. The Avid Media Station|PT companion application does not currently support Mac OS X 10.4. Avid Media Station|PT 1.6.1 will support Mac OS X 10.3.8 only and will ship with the upcoming Pro Tools TDM 6.9.1 software release. Currently, Media Station|PT is available only for Windows XP-systems.
