BURBANK, CA - AlphaDogs (info@alphadogs.tv) is hosting an on-going series of events designed to keep post pros up to speed on new technologies, as well as offer them a forum for exchanging ideas and discussing trends. The Editors' Lounge takes place at 7:00 pm the last Friday of every month at AlphaDogs' studio in Burbank and is open to editors and other industry pros.
The monthly forum has grown rapidly since it began in the Fall of 2003 and plans are already in place for the next two meetings. On Friday, March 26th, the Editors' Lounge will address the topic, "NAB Preview and the Future of Post Production." Panelists lined up for the event include Scott Templeton, executive producer/co-owner, Pietown Productions; Howard Brock, former owner of Matchframe Video; and Ramy Katrib, CEO of Digital Film Tree.
The April 30th event will follow a "Post-NAB Review and Discussion" theme. Doug Cunningham, systems engineer with Apple, will be on-hand for the event.
"Techniques, technologies and trends are constantly changing in the world of production and post production," notes Terence Curren, president of AlphaDogs. "By creating an industry think tank, we can create an ongoing exchange of information to help entertainment professionals improve their skills and track the latest developments."
