LAS VEGAS - Production/post house HD Vision Studios in Studio City, CA, showed the first of a 13-part documentary series "Artist in the Round" at the Maxell booth at NAB.
The series focuses on accomplished artists who have had to overcome major obstacles in their lives to reach their level of achievement. The first documentary, "Artist in the Round: Shayne Dark" introduces the Canadian sculptor who triumphs daily over severe Dyslexia. Growing up before Dyslexia was recognized, Shayne Dark was classified as a slow learner and today he reads and writes at a second-grade level. The documentary details the artists history and daily battles with Dyslexia.
"Artist in the Round" is shot and posted in HD by director Randall P. Dark. The footage was captured using Sony HDC-700A camcorder and posted at HD Vision Studios using a Snell & Wilcox Switcher, a Sony BE-91000 editing system and a Graham Patton 8000 audio mixer.
