LOS ANGELES - Senior colorist Paul Yacono has joined Harbor (harborpicturecompany.com), bringing with him decades of experience in color grading, including work with top directors and brands across film, television and advertising. His portfolio includes work on House of Cards, Ava DuVernay’s Oscar-nominated 13th and multiple Super Bowl campaigns.
In addition to DuVernay, Yacono has worked with filmmakers David Fincher, Jonathan Nolan, Gus Van Sant, Errol Morris and Chloé Zhao. His music work includes contributions to Beyoncé's visual album "Black is King" and Kendrick Lamar's "DNA." On the commercial side, his credits include collaborations with BMW, Apple, Nike, Gucci, Ford,and Samsung.
Yacono played a pivotal role in establishing the color division at A52 before leading the color department at The Mill Los Angeles. His expertise spans both digital and film workflows, with a deep understanding of color science and cinematic texture.
