LONDON - The Harbor Picture Company (www.harborpicturecompany.com) has launched a new advertising department in London, as well as made a number of senior hires. Joining managing director Dan Bennett is head of VFX production, Kirsty Murray, who was previously at Absolute and Glassworks, along with head of color production, Charlie Morris.
With more than 20 years of experience, VFX lead Fergal Hendrick comes on-board as creative director, 2D. Senior VFX producers Abi Klimaszewska and Hannah Jarrold will also offer support. The team joins colorist/ECD color UK, Alex Gregory, and further additions across the color and sound departments are expected to be announced soon.
Harbor UK Advertising has studios at Turnmills Farringdon and has already completed work on a number of global campaigns. Managing director Dan Bennett says the company spent the past 12 months building the studio into what it is today.
"Some might see this as a new studio, while others have already heard the buzz," he notes. "But now, we’re thrilled to officially announce our launch in the UK. This marks an exciting new opportunity, creating a true post production home for UK-based directors and production companies, no matter the format of filmmaking."
