NEW YORK CITY - Sound and music production company Machine (www.machinesound.co) has appointed Elizabeth McClanahan senior sound designer/mixer. With over a decade of experience in audio post, McClanahan brings a refined ear, technical expertise and a
passion for audio storytelling.
McClanahan's journey in sound began in her hometown of New Orleans, recording jazz musicians before relocating to New York to work in audio post. She spent nine years at Heard City and four years at Barking Owl, building a resume that includes work for Google, Pepsi,
Airbnb and ESPN, while also handling sound design and mixing on award-winning films. Her musical background, combined with a love for experimentation and modular synthesis, influence her design approach.
