LOS ANGELES – The Cinema Audio Society (CAS) recently revealed the lineup of presenters for the 61st Annual CAS Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing. The event is set to take place on Saturday, February 22nd at the Beverly Hilton.
The CAS Awards honor outstanding achievements in sound mixing across motion pictures (live action, animated and documentary), non-theatrical motion pictures or limited series, one-hour television series, half-hour television series, television non-fiction, variety or music series or specials. A CAS Student Recognition Award is also presented. As previously announced, Tod A. Maitland, CAS, will receive the CAS Career Achievement Award, and Denis Villeneuve will be honored as CAS Filmmaker of the Year.
Comedian, actor and producer Tom Papa (Tom Papa: Home Free) returns to host the evening event. The following are also expected to appear as presenters:
