LOS ANGELES - Work Editorial (www.workeditorial.tv) recently added Chris Murphy to its roster of editors. Based in Toronto, Murphy is one of the founders of Outsider Editorial in Canada. The deal gives Work Editorial representation rights in the US.
Murphy’s career began as a tape operator before transitioning to post production. His vast portfolio of work spans feature films, action-packed commercials, meditative spots and feel-good family fare, as well as large advertising spectacles. Some of his collaborations include work with Nike, Toyota, Audi, Infiniti, Jeep, Corvette, Garmin and Cheetos. His work on Dove’s Courage is Beautiful won an Industry Craft Grand Prix and a Gold Lion in the same category at Cannes Lions. He also edited the Grand Clio-winning spot Sisters in Sweat for Gatorade, starring famed tennis player Serena Williams.
