SAN FRANCISCO - Kits.AI (www.kits.ai), the provider of tools for ethical AI music creation, is now offering Voice Designer, which allows content creators to design custom singing voices from scratch, eliminating the need for pre-existing vocal datasets. Users begin by uploading a voice file, song or text. They can selecting a base voice type (male, female, high, low), and can then customize the parameters, affecting tone, vibrato and breathiness. Kits.AI has a 'singing generator library' with dozens of established sounds, including Classic Female Soul, Male Spanish Pop, Male Afro Beat, Female Talk-Rap and Female Rock/Pop.
The site has a number of price plans, including the entry-level Converter subscription, which costs $7.99 per month (billed $96 annually). This provides two custom voice slots, unlimited conversions and 10 download minutes per month. For $19.99 a month (billed $240 annually), the Creator subscription gives users five custom voice slots, 60 download minutes per month and unlimited conversions. And for $47.99 a month (billed $576 annually), the Composer subscription gives users 12 custom voice slots, unlimited monthly download minutes and unlimited conversions. There is also a free starter tier for those who would like to experiment with AI audio conversion.
