LONDON — Brompton Technology (www.bromptontech.com), an LED video processing manufacturer, has appointed Sebastian Kanabar technical sales consultant, focusing on the broadcast and film industries. Based at the company’s headquarters in Chiswick, UK, Kanabar brings over two decades of experience gained in senior technical, sales and product management roles at Prokit Europe, Holdan (part of the Midwich Group), NM Productions and Pixel Engine.
In the past, he has collaborated with the likes of Arri, Panavision, Sky, NBC Universal and CNN. Most recently, he was technical director at a UK-based VFX company that handled projects for high-end technology and automotive brands.
“Working in a variety of roles has given me an understanding of the entire production cycle,” Kanabar explains. “I wanted to delve deeper into product management and business development, as that’s where my true passion is. When the opportunity arose with Brompton, a company I knew well from my previous work, I was thrilled to join them!”
In his role as a technical sales consultant, Kanabar will leverage his existing contacts within the broadcast and film industry, as well as establish new connections. He will report to director of sales, Lotta Schiefer.
