LOS ANGELES — Radish Music (https://www.radish.mx) has appointed Emmy- and Grammy-nominated music supervisor Kier Lehman to a roster position. A five-time winner of the Guild of Music Supervisor awards, Lehman has forged a robust, decades-long career across film and TV, with credits that include The Lego Movie and HBO’s
Insecure. His work on
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse contributed to the film’s massive success, with its hit single “Sunflower” achieving double diamond status with sales of over 20 million units.
Lehman has also built up a strong commercial portfolio, notably working with Radish Music’s founder Peymon Maskan on Apple’s Shot on iPhone and The Rock x Siri Dominate The Day, as well as completing projects for Spotify and Peloton. In his new role, he will continue his development in advertising.
“I’ve known Peymon for close to 20 years, during which time we’ve become great friends and collaborators,” says Lehman. “We worked together on commercials while he was at TBWA\Media Arts Lab, and I hired him to music supervise a film while I was an executive at Sony Pictures. We have a similar ear for music and how it works combined with visual storytelling, and this feels like the perfect time to join forces again. Now I get the benefit of being able to plug into Radish’s existing experience so I can focus on bringing creative ideas and fresh perspective to advertising.”
