LOS ANGELES - Cabin Editing Company (www.cabinedit.com) recently welcomed Kim Christensen to the creative editorial studio as its new managing director for the Los Angeles office. She will work alongside founder Carr Schilling in Los Angeles and in tandem with the company’s executive leadership teams in New York and Europe to continue growing the studio's profile globally.
Christensen brings a diverse professional background across all areas of post production, including visual effects, design and editorial. She joins Cabin following 12 years at a52, where she was executive producer. Previously, Christensen held a variety of leadership roles at companies that include Bug Editorial, Spotwelders and Public VFX. She began her career on the agency side of the business, working at Amster Yard, a division of McCann Erickson in New York, and has worked with international brands that include Nike, Apple, Ikea, Samsung, Xfinity and Microsoft.
