Flow: MTI Film & ColorTime partner to launch Vancouver studio

VANCOUVER, BC - Hollywood-based post production studios MTI Film (mtifilm.com) and ColorTime (colortime2020.com) have joined forces to launch a new creative boutique in Vancouver called Flow Post Partners. Situated in the heart of Vancouver’s creative district, Flow is designed to support the rebounding television production market while capitalizing on Canada’s favorable post production tax credits. Flow will specialize in dailies, VFX and final color services for television series and feature films, and will tap Canadian talent.

The studio has already secured two high-profile television series: CBS's Watson and the upcoming Peacock comedy Laid.

"Vancouver is an ideal location to launch Flow," explains MTI Film CEO, Larry Chernoff. "It has an excellent pool of talent from which to choose, so staffing can be all Canadian. Our studio partners have a strong presence in Canada and they need a reliable known partner who can offer creative and technical support locally. To begin, Flow will provide productions with dailies and, in 'phase two,' complete their projects with VFX and finishing services, enjoying the financial benefits of the local tax credits."

"Flow is about continuity, expertise and efficiency," adds Moshe Barkat, CEO of ColorTime. "Our goal is to ensure that every project we handle flows smoothly through the post production process, delivering on-time and exceeding expectations."

Flow will not be limited to the Vancouver market, and expansion plans are already underway, with partnerships planned in other key markets. With Chernoff's and Barkat's reputations and connections throughout the industry, they hope to build Flow into a global provider of post production services.
