Fireframe.ai aims to simplify music video creation

Fireframe.ai is a new, generative text-to-video AI web application that can help musicians quickly produce music videos. According to company founder Dane O'Connor, visual content tends to drive social media, though those creating music may not be skilled in creating visuals. Fireframe.ai hopes to serve as a middle ground that goes beyond acting purely as a visualizer.

“I really…hope we can create a tool that acts like an extension of their creative canvas,” says O’Connor. “It's not just analyzing the audio and doing everything for the user. Instead, it's more about: ‘What is it you're trying to communicate with the song? What is the story that you imagined in your head? And how would you share that with someone else for the first time more directly?’”

The tool uses the audio, text and camera direction for input. Users can create a :30 video for free. Beyond :30, a user would be charged approximately $2 per minute for every minute generated of a 1080HD visual. This rate comes regardless of whether the desired results are achieved, so several iterations needed to complete for a song might come in around $20.

Fireframe.ai is also offering subscriptions and credit packs that would lower costs for regular users. O'Connor notes that the tool’s development is still in its early stages and that further sophistication is anticipated down the line, including 4K deliverables.
