LOS ANGELES - Color grading studio Ethos (ttps://ethos.studio) has added Berlin-based colorist Marina Starke to its roster of talent for US representation.

Starke's work spans a wide range of genres, from celebrated series and feature films to award-winning music videos and commercials. Her award-winning credits include a collaboration on Ásgeir’s Snowblind, which won an AICP; the Kinsale Sharks-winning I Saw by Young Fathers; and Horra by Mayyas, which won at the Filmlight Colour Awards. She worked with Netflix on the Emmy award-winning drama series The Empress, as well as the feature film Paradise, and the historical documentary Eldorado: Everything the Nazis Hate. She also color-graded the feature Bang Bang, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2024. Commercial collaborations include spots for Sony, Coach, Mercedes, Nike and Bose.

“I’m stoked to be joining the coolest kids on the block,” remarks Starke. "Ethos drew me in with its killer aesthetics and undeniable vibe. Their energy and openness made me feel right at home, and I’m looking forward to being part of the talented roster. With Eliana (Carranza-Pitcher) as our vibrant new MD, I know I’m in good hands and excited for the creative journeys ahead in the US.”
