NEW YORK CITY - PS260 (www.ps260.com) has promoted rostered editor Matt Posey to partner. As part of the edit house's leadership team, he will work closely with executive producers at locations in New York, Boston and Los Angeles.
Posey joins JJ Lask and Maury Loeb as a partner. He has been on the editing roster there since 2016, and has contributed to spots for Apple, New Balance, M&M’s, Staples, JetBlue, Skinny Pop, YouTube, Audible, Crayola, Peloton, Google, Etsy and Three Olives. He also edited the award-winning documentary film Who is Sabato De Sarno? A Gucci Story, directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost.
On the music video side, Posey edited those for the entirety of Metallica’s “72 Seasons” album, as well as for their song Lux Aeterna, which was nominated for an MTV VMA. Other music video credits include work for Phantogram, Run the Jewels, Big Sean, Squarepusher, Julien Baker and the VR campaign for Depeche Mode’s 2017 Spirit world tour.
“I feel honored to join the leadership team at PS260,” remarks Posey. “This has been my artistic home for many years now, and it’s the site of much of my growth as an editor. I’m excited to help steer the ship, so to speak, and work alongside our executive producers and other partners to execute and collaborate on a grand vision for PS260.”
