LOS ANGELES — Chris Evans will now lead the unscripted business at Picture Shop’s (www.pictureshop.com) Newman Street facility in the UK. As managing director, Evans will work closely with London talent, as well as at Picture Shop’s facilities in Manchester and in Bristol. Picture Shop’s UK locations also include Wales and Pinewood. Headquartered in Los Angeles, Picture Shop also has facilities in New York, Toronto and Vancouver.
“With over 20 years of experience, Chris is uniquely qualified to guide our brilliant unscripted division here,” says Picture Shop president, Cara Sheppard. “His extensive knowledge and expertise in this area combined with his dedication will benefit our team and our clients.”
Evans began his career as a runner at Picture Shop (previously known as The Farm) in the early 2000s, where he quickly ascended through various roles.

Recent additions to the Picture Shop technology pipeline for unscripted includes upgrading its Media Composer offerings with new thread ripper PCs, and an investment in its NEXIS capacity with new, high bandwidth switching fabrics. Picture Shop is currently growing its IO department to bring about greater efficiencies for clients while maintaining a high level of content security.
