SAN FRANCISCO — Autodesk (autodesk.com) has completed the acquisition of production management solution Pix. The addition will make it easier to share data captured on-set with studio executives and production teams, fostering broader collaboration and linking a previously disparate workflow.
Back in February, Autodesk entered into an agreement to acquire the Pix business of X2X. Pix allows for secure review and content collaboration between creatives and executives in the media and entertainment industry throughout the production process. Autodesk is connecting Pix’s production management solution to Flow, the company’s cloud solution for M&E, helping to ensure a better flow of data to all stakeholders while reducing inefficiencies.
