A number of advertising industry trade bodies have come together to establish best practices to safely re-use hard drives throughout advertising production and post processes. Organizations that include AICP, Advertising Association, Green The Bid and Adgreen, have released a report that answers a numebr of FAQs, including how long users can write to a drive before it goes bad; how to ensure data is truly wiped from a drive; and security risks that come from using a drive for multiple clients or projects.
