Entertainment Technologists Inc. has published a white paper that’s designed to serve as a practical guide to virtual production workflows, techniques and economics.
This whitepaper is intended for experienced studio executives, producers, directors and other creatives who are familiar with traditional production techniques, but are interested in learning more about Virtual Production (VP) and the new realtime workflows it enables. We are focused predominantly on narrative production work for movies and TV shows and the underlying workflows for them. We’ll take a closer look at the budget, scheduling and team impacts of virtual production during pre-production, production and post production, and the implications of it all for a workflow.
