LOS ANGELES — Jesper Kjölsrud has joined Ghost VFX (www.ghostvfx.com), Streamland Media’s visual effects division, as VFX supervisor. He has over 25 years of experience collaborating on high-profile films and television productions, including contributions to House of the Dragon,
Robin Hood,
Alice Through the Looking Glass and
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kjölsrud will be based out of Ghost VFX’s London studio and available to service any project via the company’s new unified pipeline.
“As Ghost VFX grows globally, we are continuing to put talent at the forefront and build a truly first-class team,” says Ghost VFX president Patrick Davenport. “Jesper’s experience working with top-level filmmakers and his ability to lead teams of artists to fulfill the demands on any given project are invaluable.”
Kjölsrud most recently worked for Outpost VFX, but has also spent time at MPC and Dneg.
“I’ve known many on the Ghost VFX team for over 20 years and I’ve always admired the strength of their work,” notes Kjölsrud. “I couldn’t be more excited to join the team as the company continues to expand. I look forward to working with clients and delivering on their vision.”
In addition to London, Ghost VFX has studios in Copenhagen, Los Angeles, Manchester, Toronto and Vancouver, and is opening a new studio in Pune, India this month.
