NEW YORK CITY — Squeak E. Clean Studios (www.squeakeclean.com), the creative audio network, recently promoted Max Taylor to head of production. Formerly senior producer, Taylor joined Squeak E. Clean Studios in 2020 after spending four years at 20th Century Fox. While there, he coordinated music for the hit drama Empire.
Since joining Squeak E. Clean, Taylor has produced a wide range of projects. He collaborated with the company’s global team on the “Tomorrow Is Yours to Take” campaign for Budweiser, featuring Anderson.Paak, as well as on Marriott’s “Roam Around the World” campaign, which includes cover versions of the B-52s’ hit. In his new role, Taylor will work to streamline the production process, creating efficiencies that speak to the highly collaborative nature of the company across multiple time zones.
Squeak E. Clean Studios’ managing director Hamish Macdonald says Taylor’s “varied experience gives him a unique ability to keep a more holistic eye over our production processes across the board. He is a natural and we’re thrilled to reward great talent.”
“Producing, especially for the type of work that we do, requires a creative point of view, so my creative background and vocabulary will allow me to have a deep understanding of what our team and clients need and continue to refine our approach,” adds Taylor. “I’m really excited to take a step back and have the opportunity to get under the hood, look at the big picture and create processes that allow our team to do what they do best: create.”
