LONDON — Five of Framestore's (framestore.com) top creatives have been invited to join the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). VFX supervisor Pete Dionne is currently working on Scott Derrickson's The Gorge for Skydance. His visual effects career spans more than 20 years and includes work on Thor: Love and Thunder, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, A Wrinkle in Time and Goosebumps.
Animation supervisor Arslan Elver’s work includes creating the fan-favorite Baby Groot for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and imbuing Christopher Robin’s zen-like Winnie The Pooh with a range and depth of emotion. He is currently working on John Krasinski's If.
VFX supervisor Arek Komorowski is equally comfortable working on superhero spectaculars and period epics. He is currently working on a major episodic production for Apple TV+, though his past credits include Spider-Man: Homecoming and Captain America: Civil War.
VFX supervisor Bryan Litson is a recent Oscar nominee for his work on Top Gun: Maverick. His career credits include titles such as Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil and Pokémon: Detective Pikachu.
And VFX supervisor Robert Winter is currently working on Zack Snyder's sci-fi epic Rebel Moon - his second collaboration with the director following Army Of The Dead. Other titles featuring his contributions include Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
