LONDON — Editing house Tenthree (www.tenthree.co.uk) recently welcomed editor Dan Sherwen to its roster as partner. Tenthree was founded 15 years ago by Billy Mead and has since expanded to occupy an entire building.
Sherwen comes to the studio from Final Cut, where his role as director and editor saw him garner recognition at various advertising festivals, including a Cannes Lions award for his role in The New York Times’ “The Truth Takes a Journalist” campaign from Droga5 New York. Regular appearances on Televisual's annual list of top advertising editors, and multiple Shots Editor of the Year award nominations further underscore his prominence. Sherwen is currently finishing a campaign for Squarespace, directed by Juan Cabral.
In addition to his commercial credits, Sherwen has edited music videos for Chemical Brothers, U2, Massive Attack and George Michael. He won the inaugural UKMVA Best Music Video Editor award in 2008 and again in 2014.
“Dan is someone we have respected for years,” states Ed Hoadley, managing director at Tenthree. “The fact that someone of his calibre, coming from a global powerhouse like Final Cut, is joining us speaks volumes about the reputation we’ve built.”
