NEW YORK CITY — Editorial, finishing and VFX studio Uppercut (www.uppercutedit.com)has added executive producer Cayce Cole to its recently-launched Los Angeles office and Dez Macleod-Veilleux as senior EP to its flagship New York studio.
Canadian-born, Dez Macleod-Veilleux began his career in Sydney, Australia, where he worked at visual effects companies such as Cutting Edge and Animal Logic. Upon his arrival in the US, he landed at The Mill NY, where he was an EP before moving to MPC. There, he was instrumental in building out their New York and Mexico City offices as head of production. He has has since served as senior EP at Framestore, overseeing business development for their New York operations, and most recently, as director of production at The Mill, where he was responsible for overseeing business development and strategy for its New York office.
Cayce Cole got her start in production at Mars Media before joining The Directors Bureau, a then-young production company, where she quickly moved up the ranks from office manager to music video rep to executive producer. She has since worked with Epoch Films, overseeing their rebrand and reboot; as an EP for artist and director Kahlil Joseph on work for Kenzo, Sampha and Apple, and Blk Nws; and as managing EP for creative studio/production company Even/Odd. Cole has produced work across commercials, music videos, short films, fashion films, PSAs, animation and live television.
