LONDON — Sound design and music company Machine (machinesound.co), which just opened the doors at its newly expanded Fitzrovia premises, has hired Rebecca Boswell, who will serve as executive producer. She brings 25 years of industry experience, including deep knowledge of sound design and music production.
Boswell began her career at production companies around London, including Blink, where she produced commercial projects for many top directors. After stints producing at edit houses such as The Quarry and Machine’s sister-company Final Cut, Boswell ventured into sound, taking on the role of executive producer at Wave Studios.
“Since their inception in 2018, I've shown a keen interest in Machine,” says Boswell. “I’ve watched them grow into a hugely-successful, creative and award-winning company. I'm beyond excited to join the team and look forward to growing the company further....I just wish my name was Florence!”
“Rebecca has been on our radar for quite some time,” adds managing director David Webb. “Her experience, steady hand and indomitable spirit are a perfect complement to Machine’s creative ambitions. We can’t wait to see what the team can achieve with her at the helm of the London production department.”
