SEATTLE, WA — LumaTouch (www.luma-touch.com) has announced the early release beta version of LumaFusion for ChromeOS and Android, which are now available for download from the Google Play Store and Samsung Galaxy Store. Early customers of the beta version will receive a 30 percent discount off of the list price of $29.99, and will also receive the updated final shipping version when it becomes available at the end of this year.
LumaFusion is a multi-track video editor. While LumaFusion for ChromeOS and Android is an entirely new software application from LumaTouch, which already is available for iOS, the LumaFusion experience and workflow will be familiar regardless of the device users choose.
Editing features include the ability to layer up to six video and six audio tracks. There are visual effects tools for green screen, luma and chroma keys, blurs, distort, styles and color grading. Speed effects allow users to create slow motion of fast motion clips in forward or reverse, as well as create smooth slow motion using 120 and 240fps files. They can also edit timelapse videos.
Audio tools allow for keyframing levels, panning and EQing. There are also seetings for ducking music when dialogue is present. Title tools allow users to create multilayer titles with shapes and images, as well as adjust font, color, face, border and shadow. Title creations can also be saved and shared.
Editors can create projects in a variety of aspect ratios, including landscape, portrait, square and widescreen. And there is support for frame rates ranging from 18fps to 240fps. In addition to working with media on the user’s device, LumaFusion also allows content creators to link to media on USB-C drives, as well as to import media from cloud storage, such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive. In app purchases can be made from Storyblocks, providing access to thousands of royalty-free music, sound effects, videos, and backgrounds.
