LOS ANGELES — Post Hub (https://myposthub.com) has announced that veteran film producer/executive Laura Ivey is joining the post production management, delivery and workflow software company as partner and chief strategic officer. She will oversee the company’s sales and marketing strategies, working closely with CEO Chris Ranta to educate the entertainment industry on Post Hub’s comprehensive suite of services.
Post Hub specializes in comprehensive post management, legal delivery and digital asset management, providing studio-level support from production through distribution. The company is composed of industry veterans who specialize in maximizing the efficiency of the post process for feature film and television of all genres and budgets. Some of its clients include Universal, Paramount, Sony, Netflix, Lionsgate, HBO, and Apple+.
Ivey’s experience spans 25 years in Hollywood serving in various areas of the business,including film production, company executive, independent producer, and international and domestic sales. She was recently co-founder and CEO of Co-Op Entertainment, a creator-friendly, business-savvy production company tasked with bringing elevated, impactful stories to the widest possible audience. Her production, Walking Out, starring Matt Bomer, Josh Wiggins and Bill Pullman, premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. She also produced Meg Ryan’s directorial debut Ithaca, starring Hamish Linklater, Sam Sheperd, Jack Quaid and Tom Hanks.
Previously, Ivey served as president of the independent sales company The Exchange, and just prior, as chief operating officer for After Dark Films/Autonomous Films. Her career also includes serving as executive VP, business affairs and operations for Odd Lot Entertainment and as VP of business and legal affairs at Infinity Media.
