DALLAS – Charlieuniformtango’s (http://charlieuniformtango.com) Justin Wilson recently directed a :60 video for Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers that celebrates National Iced Tea Day - Friday, June 10th. The spot stars the man himself, Ice-T.
The musician/actor got behind the counter at a Raising Cane’s business in Phoenix, AZ, where he waited on surprised customers on National Iced Tea Day. Ice-T noted that Raising Cane’s iced tea is always fresh brewed and ice cold. He also commented to a customer that high gas prices had made him get a day job, which brought some laughs.
“Ice was an exceptional talent to work with and a joy to be around,” Justin said, “I’d jump at the chance to work with him again.”
Wilson shot the spot with several cameras, including two Sony FX9s, four GoPros, two Insta360 cameras, a drone and a DSLR. With a variety of angles to choose from, every Ice-T quote was captured from multiple perspectives. This gave Raising Cane's editor editor/motion graphics designer Richard Escobedo plenty of flexibility in the cut.
