LONDON — The Association of Motion Picture Sound (www.amps.net) has announced the nominees for its 9th Annual Awards for Excellence in the Craft of Film Sound. Nominees were chosen by AMPS’s voting members, who are sound peers. The ballot to decide the winner will open shortly, and the winner will be announced on Saturday, February 12th.
“It’s great to see this year’s awards once again featuring a varied and international mix of nominees,” states AMPS chair, Andrew Wilson. “The AMPS voting members recognise craft excellence above everything, and any one of the nominated films would be a worthy winner. Congratulations to all the nominees, and we look forward to announcing the winner.”
