NEW YORK CITY — SyncFloor (www.syncfloor.com), the commercial music licensing platform, has hired Samu Rast to head its sales team. Rast comes to the company after stints at the production music house Anthem Entertainment/Jingle Punks and BMG. In his new role, he will apply his music sales background to SyncFloor’s catalogue of commercially-released, high-caliber music from around the world.
“I’ve been waiting for a platform to emerge that will completely change the experience of licensing commercial music, and I’m pleased to say that SyncFloor is that platform,” says Rast. “(Co-founders) Kirt (Debique) and Cestjon (McFarland) have built a marketplace that provides an unparalleled search experience and removes the friction and uncertainty from the process of licensing commercial music. I’m thrilled to join such a talented team and look forward to helping grow SyncFloor into the number one platform for licensing commercial music.”
