MEMPHIS, TN — Marie Pizano, CEO and founder of MVP3 Entertainment Group (www.mvp3studios.com), has joined forces with Darnell Stitts of ATWEC Technologies to begin construction of a multipurpose production/entertainment complex in Memphis. The first phase of the development launched in July, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the site of the 80,000-square-foot Malco Majestic Cinema, which Pizano says will eventually house production sound stages, voiceover studios, post production suites, music recording studios, a television network and movie theaters. Planned future expansion includes a hotel, indoor sports complex, family entertainment center, retail, dining and more in the surrounding area.
Cultural diversity, collaboration and purpose-driven change form the foundation of Pizano’s vision in creating the complex, which she says will serve to elevate artists as individuals, as well as the city of Memphis as a whole.
Pizano is also the author of "From Barefoot to Stilettos, Finding My Yes", her candid, empowering story of the obstacles she overcame and naysayers she ignored on her way to becoming a filmmaker, music producer and CEO.
“I have a passion for life, a passion to get this entertainment powerhouse built, and a passion to teach my children the right way to live,” she says. “I have a passion for having fun, and I have the energy and determination to go and get my ‘yes.’”
