SANTA MONICA, CA — Nomad Editing Company (www.nomadedit.com) has strengthened its roster of creatives with the recent addition of editor Rami D’Aguiar. With credits that include work for Pepsi, Ubisoft and Nike, D’Aguiar is known for a sharp, striking editorial style that elevates cinematic visuals.
“I’m passionate about visual storytelling in the advertising industry,” he explains. “I always want to tell a good story and play with the audience’s feelings. If I can get any kind of good reaction, the job is complete.”
D’Aguiar is multilingual (English, Spanish and Portuguese) and has amassed numerous awards, including Cannes, Clio, D&AD, El Ojo and Ciclope.
“I was attracted to Nomad because it is an extremely creative shop where I’ll be able to tell stories globally.”
Nomad partner/executive producer Jennifer Lederman says it was more than just D’Aguiar’s body of work that caught their eye. “I love the fact that he’s trilingual and can easily edit out of any of the Nomad offices. Rami has a place in LA, he works in NYC, he has a home in Brazil. He’s just used to the culture of editing where needed.”
Nomad has offices in Santa Monica, New York City, London and Tokyo.
